Dr. Postacchini graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology with honors from the Tor Vergata University in Rome. He received a research grant in 2010 on the topic: “The biological effects and clinical applications of biomaterials in shoulder and knee pathologies and received a Study Award.
He was a social doctor for the first team of the football club S.S. Lazio in the 2008/2009 football season.
Dr. Postacchini has been a professor at the Foro Italico University of Rome for several years in “Upper limb diseases”.
He is the author of books and numerous scientific works in international journals.
In the last 5 years he has made more than 3000 orthopedic visits per year and from 2010 to 2015 he has performed more than 2600 surgical operations ranging from shoulder, wrist-hand, knee, elbow, foot-ankle, hip up to to the spine.
His main area of ​​interest is the shoulder, hand and knee.
He is one of the surgeons who in recent years has performed multiple shoulder operations in Italy between atrophy, prosthetics, traumatology and arthroscopic instability and is recognized to be an orthopedist among the leading shoulder experts in Italy both for arthroscopy that the prosthesis with minimally invasive techniques and prostheses.

From October to November 2004 he attended the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department of Rush Presbyterian Hospital and Oak Park Hospital in Chicago (USA) under the guidance of Dr. Antony Romeo.
From January to April 2006 he attended the Kaiser Permanente Hospital Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Los Angeles (USA) under the guidance of Dr Michael Pearl.
From May to August 2006 he attended the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department of the Rush Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago (USA) under the guidance of Dr. Antony Romeo and Dr. Brian Cole.
In September and October 2006 he attended the Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Los Angeles (USA) directed by Dr. S. J. Snyder.
In these stays he carried out scientific activities and gained clinical and surgical experiences in some areas of Orthopedics, such as the lumbar spine, knee and elbow, but in particular the shoulder with some of the best known and expert lovers of shoulder surgery in international field.
